When We Are Closed

An out-of-hours service is provided on weekdays overnight 6.30pm – 8am and weekends 6.30pm Friday to 8am Monday, and public holidays. Ring NHS 111 by simply dialling 111 from your landline or mobile.  All calls to this number are free. Please only ring for urgent medical problems which cannot wait until the next working day.

Calderdale CCG is responsible for this service which is provided via NHS 111. All their calls are recorded for safety reasons. The hospital A&E department is not an alternative for either our daily surgeries or the out-of-hours service.

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 (simply dial 111) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
